Over the weekend, the Little Village community celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated basketball court, marking the beginning of countless games! This vibrant space will serve both the Little Village community and the students of Joseph E. Gary and Josefa Ortiz De Dominguez ES!
BEAR was proud to help HRP Group, Beyond the Ball and Gary-Ortiz Elementary School transform three existing outdoor basketball courts into a vibrant, high-quality sports destination that fosters community engagement, athletic development and recreational enjoyment. Through an innovative resurfacing process, premium custom striping with collaboration from the Chicago Bulls and upgraded state-of-the-art Musco Sports lighting, this project elevated these courts into a local landmark that encourages active lifestyles. As you can see in these before and after images, the end result was quite a slam dunk!
