BEAR Construction is proud to announce that our President, Jim Wienold, has recently been appointed to the Board of Governors for a Chicago area metropolitan Boys & Girls Club.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization of local chapters which provide voluntary after-school programs for young people. The mission of the BGCA is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
On joining the board, Jim says, “I had a very happy childhood growing up with two loving, hard-working parents and four brothers and sisters in a close family. Our parents raised us to treat all others as you wish to be treated yourself and to do what is morally right. That is what my parents, brothers, sisters, and children have always done. I believe there is no better way to help the world and our society than giving our youth the safety, means, leadership, and love to provide them the best chance for a happy, successful life.”
