BEAR is nearly finished with the new roof on our 3,000 square foot addition to the Long Grove Village Hall. The roof structure is constructed of wood roof trusses and a cedar shake roofing system consisting of waterproof underlayment and ventilation mat. The addition will consist of a new Board Room, Village Manager Office, Assistant Manager Office, restrooms and a storm shelter.
Work on the existing building includes tear down of the old shingles, which began this week. The roof replacement will match the new addition. The existing building will be tied into the addition along the east wall of the existing Board Room. Renovations of the existing building will consist of creating a vestibule, open office, break room and flex space.
