Era Valdivia Contractors – New Building

BEAR completed a 6-acre design-build redevelopment project in Chicago’s Hegewisch neighborhood. Work included the demolition of an existing 35,000-SF building that experienced significant damage during a 2020 structure fire, and replacing that building with a new 30,000-SF building that houses the client’s equipment and maintenance operations. Site improvements included all new underground utilities plus a parking lot and new underground storm water detention system. BEAR previously completed a renovation of an existing 45,000-SF building on the property that included a new 11,000-SF corporate headquarters office.
