Project Details

The overall project consisted of structural, mechanical and electrical upgrades to improve ventilation and temperature controls inside the facilities existing two-story building for P1 and P2 process areas. BEAR coordinated with both the plant and process operation teams throughout construction (including weekend work) and followed the strict plant safety guidelines and food safety protocols with zero incidents. BEAR conducted selective demolition of the CMU demising wall to install three stainless steel man doors and two new overhead doors. Auxiliary support was furnished and installed at each pre-cast roof penetration to support structure reinforcing for new mechanical and electrical penetrations. Two new AHU’s were furnished, installed and set via helicopter on the new steel roof curbs and included all new stainless steel ductwork, exhaust fans and control thermostats and finished with a complete commissioning, testing and balancing of the system.
