Project Details
BEAR completed its second major installment to Wintrust Stadium. Beginning in the early winter months of 2025, BEAR started excavating the existing right field hillside to create the footprint for a new seating attraction that needed to be fully operational by opening day in the spring. Concrete retaining walls were installed to create a 2-tiered patio deck. Form liners and concrete staining were utilized to give the appearance of masonry walls, which matches the surrounding areas of the Stadium. The deck features areas for high top seating/dining on both levels. New electrical systems were routed to service both tiers, and updated sports safety netting and a large planter box were installed. Entry and egress gates were added to integrate with the existing right field system. Additionally, new stairs and an ADA-compliant ramp were constructed to ensure accessibility on the second level.
