The Sky Lounge renovation on the 41st floor of 1 E. Wacker Drive transforms a unique space into a modern, upscale lounge with an eye-catching bar and a radial ceramic tile design. The lounge offers breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline, creating an unforgettable experience for guests. A key challenge was material and equipment transport as the building’s freight elevator only reached the 39th floor. The team overcame this obstacle by working closely with our trade partners to precisely coordinate schedules while allowing for longer than usual delivery times. The end result of this effort is a sophisticated space that blends innovative design with functionality, making it a standout destination for the building’s tenants.
